Well Ryan and I were so lucky to be able to go on a Disney Cruise with my cousin Tyra and her husband Matt. We went to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Disney's Castaway Cay!!!!What a wonderful, stressfree week we had. We are so greatful to Nana and Papa and the Wedikinds for watching our kids so we could take some much needed time for the 2 of us. What an amazing week and I want to do it again really, really, really soon!!!!!!!!!!

Wow I can't believe my baby girl is 5. She is in preschool and loves every minute of it. She is a very wonderful artist, loves to color, play with playdough, create amazing things in the kitchen when mom isn't looking and loves to be our little princess. She is such a girly girl but will rough house with dad and the boys! She is a great little sister and an even greater big sister!!! We LOVE you to pieces Bekah Boo!!!

Luke's 3rd Birthday

Well he made it to the big 3. He is such an awseome little man and we love him to pieces. His brothers and sister know just what to do to make him yell and scream at them. They have it down to a science. I can picture Ryan being the same way:P We can't even image our family complete without him. I hope this year brings a potty trained little boy and maybe just a little less yelling:)Love you Lukie!!!

Well since it has been so long I thought I would give you a little update.
Erik is in 8th grade and taller than his dad:)He is doing well in school and scouts and is making new friends every day. He is excited about starting seminary next year "YIKES" He is also the tallest Deacon in the Ward, Just to give you an idea of his size he is wearing size 12 1/2 shoes. I am thinking I am in real trouble!!!
Jared is in 6th grade and still the jokester in the family, he is struggling with being a 6th grader and trying to turn his homework in on time but is loving being back with his buddies.He has a friend Christian who is so much like Jared and they love being together. He enjoys Art and Drawing and is always making games up on the computer and printing them out for he and Erik to play.He is very creative and I love it.
Rebekah is in Preschool and the family Princess, She will be 5 next week and is so smart. She is such a good big sister and loves to play with Luke. She also loves Art and Drawing and has turned her bedroom door and the empty wall space in the living room her Art gallery. She is very happy and loves to play outside in the dirt with Luke making mud pies and getting wet and dirty but also loves to dress up like a princess and have tea parties in her room with whoever will join her!
Luke is now 3 and all that comes with being "3". He is talking like he is a teenager already and trying to keep track of what he is up too is a full time job:P He loves to play with Rebekah and also loves cars, trucks, tools and MUD.
Ryan is working hard to support our family and is the 2nd counsler in the Bishopric, he loves getting up early to excersice before work and then play like crazy with the kids when he gets home.He is such a great husband and I am so thankful for him.
I am at home running kids around and trying to stay on top of the Laundry for 6 people. Wow I am so lucky to be the mom of such great kids and be a part of raising them in the gospel. They know so much about the scriptures and love to learn about the savior and his teachings. I don't know how it could get any better than that. I love that they teach me how to be patient.

Ryan is such a great husband. I am so thankful the Lord put him in my life. He is such a great provider for our family and is always trying to think of more things to do with us. He is great at his church callings and is very good at scripture study and prayer with our family. He is so great to have personal prayers with the kids, which they love.He is kind to his patients and a great DENTIST:)I am so greatful to know that I can depend on him to be there for me and the kids in all we do. He is such a great supporter of anything the kids want to try or do. Thank you Ryan for being such a great friend to me. Have a great Birthday!WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Jared has been working with a team of 6 kids on Odyssey of the Mind and placed 3rd at Regionals and won the OMER award, then went onto State and tied for 1st place. They have worked very hard on this competition and are now on their way to the World Finals at Michigan State the end of May. They are such a great group of kids and they have worked so hard with their set and script. Jared holds up a sign behind the scenes that says Chicken of the Sea and makes a chicken noise and the whole audience laughs. He is also a cracker that runs out at the end to taste the tuna. We are so proud of Jared for this accomplishement. WOW is the only thing I can say to the time he and I have put into getting him there for practices.

Heres a little background about OM.

Odyssey of the Mind,

Often called OM (although the official acronym is OotM, since "OM" has been otherwise copyrighted), is a creative problem-solving competition involving students from kindergarten through college. Team members work together at length to solve a predefined problem (the Long Term problem); and present their solution to the problem at a competition. They must also generate spontaneous answers to a problem they have not seen before; this is the spontaneous competition.

Problem 5: Food Court

Divisions I, II, III & IV
The problem is to create and present a humorous performance where a food item is accused of being unhealthy and must defend itself among its food peers. All characters are food items and will include "the accused," "the accuser," a jury that is not portrayed by team members, and additional team-created characters. The jury will reveal its decision to the audience.

Spontaneous problems

The Spontaneous problems are the part of the competition that encourage quick, off-the-top-of-your-head thinking. While up all team members may enter the spontaneous room, only five team members can actually participate in spontaneous.[6] Spontaneous problems fall into three categories:

Verbal problems involve responses to a question, statement, or picture; team members' responses are scored on wittiness and creativity (With common responses receiving one point and creative or humorous responses receiving greater amounts, depending on the problem.). Usually, team members have one or two minutes to think of responses and then two or three minutes to give the responses. The order of responses is often random or sequential. Recent problems have also involved a limit to the total number of responses. (Each team member is given a set of colored cards and must turn in a card when they give a response. When they are out of cards, they are out of chances to respond.)
Verbal hands-on problems are similar to verbal problems, but they usually involve manipulating a physical object in some way. This may include using an object as a prop, or taking clay or aluminum foil and making characters, which then participate in a story made up by the team members. Scoring is based on team work and creativity of responses.
Hands-on problems rely almost entirely on the manipulation of physical objects; these problems usually take longer than verbal problems, and team members may sometimes only be able to communicate non-verbally. Scoring is based on team work, creativity, and problem-specific goals.
Although an Odyssey team can consist of up to seven members, only five can participate in the Spontaneous problem. Team members that do not participate must either leave the competition room or stay in the room without communicating with the rest of the team in any way. The team members usually decide in advance who will participate in the different types of Spontaneous problems; after the judge announces which of the three types a team will be given, the other teammates will leave or stay as the case may be.

New Things Happening With The Bingham Family

I know it has been awhile but I think I have a good excuse:) Ryan and I moved up to Greeley Colorado so we would not need to commute almost an hour each way. What a great thing to be so close to home now. I have also been working at the office 3 days a week, which has been a little hectic with kids scedules. I don't know how many of you know but Ryan was contracted to work for Dr. Gomez through Feb. while Dr. Gomez was having cancer treatments. He passed away November 28, 2009. Ryan has had some big shoes to fill but has done an amazing job making patients feel comfortable and confident in him as a new dentist. About 80% of his patient speak spanish and about half of them only speak spanish. What a great opprortunity for him to use the language he used for 2 years on his mission. As of April 1,2010 Ryan and I are the Proud OWNERS of a Dental Practice. What alot of work. I am so grateful to have worked for Dr. Wray for so many years and know alot about what to do in a dental office, that has been invaluable in this transition.

Ryan has been wanting to go skiing with the boys for a while now so he took them to Eldora up Boulder Canyon. It is about 45 minutes from our home. The boys have never been skiing before so we decided to have them take lessons. They had a great time and learned alot. They are excited to go again and so is Ryan. I was surprised that Ryan was not that sore when he got home. He hadn't been skiing for 15 yrs, he must be in pretty good shape:}I know I would have been aching for days:)

Well needless to say it was a long time coming. Rebekah decided to take a chunk out of her hair and since Aunt Holly was here for Christmas we used her wonderful talent to cut Bekah's hair. It sure turned out cute, don't ya think? I was really excited for her to have some bangs because she was constantly pushing her hair out of her eyes. I love her new HAIRDO!!! I know daddy was a little hesitant about it but now he loves it.Thanks so much Aunt Holly!

We had a great Halloween this year. Nana and Papa were able to be here! We sure love having visitors!!! We went to Jared's parade at school.We also had a parade and trunk or treat at the church. Jared was Indiana Jones, Erik was dressed as a Roman Soldier, Rebekah was a mouse an Luke was a Bat!!!!Luke and Bekah weren't up for the hours of Trick or Treating that the big boys were but they made a good effort. I think I ate way too much Chocolate if that is possible. Can you believe I just said that??? Maybe it was the stuff with nuts that made my mouth sore. That had to be it and not the CHOCOLATE, Right??

Well my baby girl just turned 3 on October 6th. She is such a joy in our family.She talks like she is going on 15 and that is pretty scary. She loves to color, play with playdough and play with her dolls and stuffed animals. She is very much a girly girl and loves to change her clothes about ten times a day. She also loves to layer one outfit on top of another. She is very much a Daddy's girl and spoiled by her big brothers. She loves for her Daddy to throw her up in the air. She is such a great big sister to Luke and loves to play with him and laugh with him. It is so fun to listen to her play peek-a-boo with him. She loves to play with Thunder and he loves to follow her around. I know that my life would be very boring if I wasn't cleaning up after her all day and washing more clothes than need be but what else do I have to do with my time??:)We love you REBEKAH!!!!!Happy 3rd Birthday!

Camping at the Garden of the Gods

We went camping to the Garden of the Gods over Labor Day weekend and had a great time. We took Thunder and he loved being with us 24/7. What a beautiful place. The rock formations and the colors were amazing. I think my favorite part was the Chocolate Marshmallow Banana Boats. OK so being with my family was my favorite but the banana boat came in a close 2nd.

Lukes 1st Birthday

Wow how this year has flown by. He's one and fantastic. He is such a great little boy. Now that his teeth are coming in and he can move around on his own he is getting happy again.YIPEE!!! I sure don't like the teething stage. He loves his siblings and can make just as much racket as they can. He loves to play with his toys, take a bath, sleep in his bed for naps,his daddy throwing him in the air, screaming with Rebekah, having Erik swing him around, playing with Jared, cuddling with his mommy:),playing with Thunder, clapping his hands and singing songs. We love his smiles and his laugh. We can't wait to see what this next year brings.

1st Annual Dalhousie Reunion

We were able to have the 1st annual Dalhousie Reunion in July and got to visit with so many friends. We sure miss them all. I can’t believe how many little ones have been born since we left. We will sure cherish all the memories we have made with everyone.

We went to the Oquirrh Mountian Temple open house with the Brose Family and Aunt Holly. We had a great time and the Temple is absolutely beautiful. What a great way to teach the kids about having reverence for the Lords house and Serving Him.

Summer with Family

We have had an eventful summer. I don’t think I have ever been this crazed about what is happening next in my life. I have tried very hard to trust in the Lord and Ryan is such a rock to our family. Ryan has changed jobs and is now working in Greeley Colorado. He is working for a dentist that has cancer and is not able to see patient right now. He is very busy and loving that but he leaves at 7 am and gets home at 7 pm. Not sure how I like that but I can survive the long hours for a little while. We are debating on what to do next with Ryan’s career and our home. So many decisions and with the Lords help I know he will help us do what is best for our family. Now on to the good stuff!!!!!! Erik is now in Middle School and is doing very well. He is trying to make new friends but still misses his friends in Nova Scotia. He goes in tomorrow for an MRI on his knee and hopefully it will be back to normal. He and Jared had a great time in Utah with all of their cousins. They sure love being around all of them and can’t wait to see them again. Jared is now in 4th grade and loves his teacher! She has 2 SNAKES and some FISH. Right up his alley, don’t you think????He has 2 of his friends from church in his class and they get along great. Jared is also the family clown and loves to make up stories to hear people laugh. They both love to ride their bikes around the neighborhood. Rebekah is almost 3 and loves to dress up, color pictures, do puzzles, play with her kitchen, go to playgroup, give her daddy hugs and loves to be read to. She is also a very good big sister. She is very helpful with Luke and loves his binki. She went without it for almost 9 months and has decided that she wants it again. Any suggestions on how to remove it from her mouth without a little tantrum following????? Luke is growing like a weed. He is crawling all over the place and has decided he wants to do the stairs and get on the dishwasher whenever he can manage it. He loves to play with his brothers and sister. He loves his daddy to throw him in the air. He also loves to cuddle still which I LOVE. He loves to nap in his bed. He still only has 2 teeth but is working on more. Luke is very active and is starting to thin out. This little guy is such a fun addition to our family. He has the cutest smile and has the greatest little laugh. We are going to celebrate his first birthday on the 22nd of September. Wow did that year fly by.

I forgot to add a little update about Erik's knee. He is able to walk on it now and sees the specialist on the 6th of July to have one more x-ray. Hopefully by then he will have a clean bill of health to jump on the trampolene and run like he wants to.

We have had a few visitors lately and are enjoying them so much. Ryan's parents came over memorial day and we took them to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science and then we went to Boondocks and the park. Erik graduated from 5th grade and is now officially going to Jr. High next year. He has seen the doctor and is 5'1 and 102 lbs. He is going to pass me up by the end of the summer. He was able to go with my dad for a week to Atlanta and back and kept Papa company. Jordan Friddle was here with Jared while Erik was gone with Papa and they had so much fun. We have had Sami here for a few weeks now and she is loving it. She has been hanging out with Rebekah W. who is a girl in my Ward and they are like 2 peas in a pod. Little Bekah keeps telling Sami to "Get out of my HOUSE" when she doesn't get what she wants from her. Boy is she bossy. While my parents were here with Jo, Kena & Sami they put on a FHE show for us of Noah's Ark. We laughed so hard. They were so cute acting out all the animals and Jo did a great job of being Noah . Jared is at Cub camp today and hopefully having fun. Erik has an overnighter tonight with the scouts and Ryan gets to go with him. Luke is doing pretty good. He has figured out how to roll to his stomach and scoot back, but then gets caught on a piece of furniture and gets mad. He has his dads temper:))))HAHA. Ryan would tell you he has my temper but since he is not writing this I get to say what I want. He is such a great little boy. I just love it when he smiles and babbles. When he wakes up in the morning he starts saying DA DA DA so I tell Ryan he is calling for him. That has worked so far. I'm sure Ryan will catch on sooner than later but since he is usually getting up for work anyway why get out of bed!!!! We are so excited to see so many of you soon.

Springtime Fun

I thought I would add a few pics of what we have been up to lately. Jared had his field day at school and had a blast he also just finished soccer and loved it. The clothes were soaking wet! They had to put them on then run to the other player and take them off.

Can you say dizzy? Try running back after 8 times around the bat!!

Erik has not been able to participate in much but is trying really hard to stay off his leg. The 5th graders had a celebration at the REC center yesterday so Erik stayed home with me and we went to the park for playgroup and then went shopping for new shorts for summer. You all know how fast he grows:}. Well this is his last week in elementary school:( I can't believe he will be in Middle School. Sad for me but fun for him.

Well Rebekah has found a new love. (LIP STUFFS). Oh my goodness hold onto your hats this girl is all girl. She love putting on any lip stuff she can find and it is usually in my purse. I finally broke down and bought her some from walmart for 98 cents and she is constantly asking me if I want some. I just love her to pieces. She has also been asking her daddy to take her swimming so while my mom was here last weekend we took just her to the pool and she loved it.

Luke has finally turned over on his own but is reluctant to try it again. He is such a fun baby. He is laughing and smiling all the time. He loves his bed for nap time and take very good naps which I love. I just have to try cleaning my house while he is sleeping otherwise it doesn't get done. Anyone else feel that way???? He is trying to get some teeth in so he has been a little cranky. But for the most part he love to play in his excersaucer and loves to sit up on his own. Oh how I love this kid. Look at those cheeks.

Ok so I can't forget the last addition to the family. Thunder is about 5 lbs if that and is a good dog. He loves the kids and is pretty good at not barking unless the neighbors dogs are out. This is our Thunder the Wonder!!!

Erik's 11th Birthday

Wow I can't believe I have an 11 year old. Erik has had a tough month. He has been telling me for about a year now that his knee hurt but I just thought it was growing pains. He never had any swelling and it only seemed to hurt when he played hard. One day he came home from riding his razor with tears in his eyes and told me he wanted to see the doctor about his knee. Boy did I feel bad. I made an appt and they sent us for x-rays and the next thing you know we are sitting in the orthopedic surgeons office getting ready to have an MRI. Well needless to say Erik has a fracture in his left knee and has to keep all weight off of it for 6 weeks. Try keeping a 10 yr old from running even with a leg brace and crutches!!!!!He has not been able to participate in any of the year end fun stuff at school and he had to cancel baseball. Boy is he bummed. He has been really good about staying off his leg until Sat. at his birthday party when I caught him JUMPING on the trampoline with his friends. I thought I would kill him and save him the trouble of surgery. Sound good to anyone else. Anyway he such a good kid. He is always willing to help with Bekah and Luke and around the house (until lately for obvious reasons). He loves to read and put together Lego's and play games. He is getting really good at Clue. Erik is starting Jr High next year and is really excited about it. He will be starting 11yr old scouts this week and has his first overnight camp out in June. He is such a spiritual giant. I will come around the corner and low and behold he is reading his scriptures. What an example he is to me. He knows so much about the Book of Mormon and sometimes I just sit in awe at his knowledge. I am so proud of him and can't wait to see what he does next. We LOVE you Erik!!!!!

Jared's 9th Birthday!!!

Well Jared sure knows how to make birthday last. He was suppose to take cupcakes to school the Friday before his B-day but it turned into a snow day so I had Ryan take some to work. I AM trying to lose a little weight. Then on Saturday he had a birthday party at Chuck-E-Cheese with 4 of his friends and a cake decorated by Jared and Ryan. He had a blast. Then on his real birthday he wanted fish for dinner so Jared and Ryan had fish while Erik had a PB&J and I had a salad with brownies for dessert. Jared was in fish heaven. He wanted Lobster but that didn't happen. Maybe next year:) I sure love this kid. He is such a funny boy. He is always trying to crack a joke or tell a funny story. He is such a good big brother and always tries to help me with Luke & Bekah. I am so grateful the Lord sent him to our family. We are so blessed to have him in our home. We sure can't wait to see what he says or does next. He loves being in soccer and scouts. Jared we love you!!!!!

Winter fun in Colorado

Well the Binghams have been having fun checking out our new home in Colorado. We went to the Denver Aquarium and had a blast. We saw all sorts of marine life. Rebekah had a little breakdown in the middle of the Aquarium because she wanted to see an animated Gorilla and Ryan thought she was saying Koala and there was not a Koala anywhere to be found. When we finally figured out what she was telling us life was so much better for our cute little 2 year old. Erik just finished Basketball season and loved it. He is about to turn 11 in 2 months and I just keep thinking how did he get so tall and so smart. He is growing way to fast for me. He is going to be taller than me in no time:( Jared is getting excited for soccer to start. He had a valentines activity at school and I took Bekah and Luke and we had lunch with Jared. The 3rd graders had a salad bar to share with their parents and it was alot of FUN. Jared wore a shirt to school that said "Don't make me do the Valentines Dance!" Well guess who did the Dance a million times that day! I warned him but he insisted on the sign. Rebekah is getting so big and her hair is growing sooooo long. She is so busy and into everything. I can't turn around without cleaning up something. We had a little incident with the dog and poor little Thunder looked like he was in shock. Rebekah got the tub of butter off the kitchen counter and decided that Thunder needed a hairdo. I wish I would have been in the frame of mind to take a picture but I just kept thinking that now the dog needed a bath and the carpet needed to be cleaned and Rebekah needed to be in time out. Not one of our better days!! It seems I turn my back for a minute and she is either changing her clothes or putting on my mascara. Luke is now 5 months old and my chubby little buddy. He is so cute and I just love his smile. His chubby little hands are grabbing for everything. Ryan has been winter camping with the Scouts. He is also busy with his calling and work. He is such an awesome DAD!!!! He is always trying to find time to spend with the kids doing something productive and also playing with them. We had a visit from Nana and Papa on different weekends recently and loved every minute of it. As for me I am loving being home with my kids even though some days are not so great and I am learning how to be a patient mom:) At least I hope I am.

We have had a busy Holiday season!! My Parents came for Christmas with my neices Sami and Makena and we had a great time with them. It was so nice to have them in our home for Christmas morning. The kids had a fun time opening toys and putting together Lego's and Bekah had fun dressing up all day. Ryan and I celebrated our 12th Anniversary. It seems like yesterday we were dating and couldn't wait to get married. Now 12 yrs 4 kids and a dog later we still love being together (most of the time:). Ryan is a great dad and husband and works so hard to be here for us. He is really busy but always finds time to spend with the kids and me. Now we have another addition to our family and his name is Thunder. He is nine weeks old and has more energy than I know what to do with. He is so cute and the kids are having a ball with him. We decided it was about time to make my life even crazier by adding another baby to the mix and let me tell you potty training a puppy isn't easy. Luke is growing like a weed and getting chubbier by the minute. Boy do we love him in our family. He has brought such a sweet Spirit into our home and is so fun to watch grow and change. I keep telling him to slow down but he isn't listening. Bekah is such a little princess and loves to dress up and dance around the room. " Mom look at me I'm a queen" is one of her favorite sayings. Jared is our artist and you can usually find him drawing a picture somewhere in the house. he also loves to play Legos with Erik and jump on the Trampolene. Erik loves playing Basketball, Legos and reading. They are both such big helpers. I am just trying to keep up with them and the house and of course the new puppy. Ryan is busy with work, his calling and has just started drawing again when he has time. Hope you all have a fantastic New Year!!

Thanksgiving Trip

We had a great trip to Utah to visit family and bless Luke. It was so nice to see Grandpa and Grandma Friddle and Cousins at Uncle Tory's home. Luke has had a hard time since we have been home because he was held so much he thinks that is how life should be. Sorry to my little one but there is laundry to do:) He sure enjoyed it though!! We also enjoyed staying with Mike and Sheree for a night. The kids had so much fun and didn't want to leave. The Kids enjoyed seeing all their cousins at Grandma and Grandpa Binghams for Thanksgiving and we sure appreciate all the hard work they put into hosting Thanksgiving and Lukes Blessing. Thanks to all who came to the blessing and supported our Family. We sure appreciate you all. We also were able to be there for Lance and Megans daughter Kali Celeste blessing. What a beautiful little angel she is. We got some fun news yesterday that Uncle Aaron and Aunt Amanda had a handsome little boy weighing in at 8lbs and 8oz. He has all of my kids beat!!!. We sure can't wait to see pictures. Hope you all have a great week and hopefully I can post again before Christmas.

We've had a great Fall so far. Erik won the best costume award at the ward party as a MUMMMY. Ryan got to taste test the Chili and pick a winner with the Bishopric and no he didn't take the BEANO as I suggested:) Jared was a Ninja and then on Halloween became a hunter with his new Racoon hat from Grandpa Bingham. Rebekah was a cute little Poodle and wouldn't take her costume off. Last but not least Luke was a Sweeeet piece of candy one night and a Ghost the next. We had Nana here for our Ward party and then Grandpa and Grandma Bingham were here for Halloween and got to see the kids in the schools Halloween Parade. As some of you know my cousin Travis plays football for BYU and he got us tickets for the game in Fort Collins last saturday against the CSU Rams. Boy was that an awsome game. I was able to go with my Aunt Bonnie and cousin Jessica and the boys got to bring a friend with them. Poor little Luke slept through most of my jumping up and down and screaming when things got crazy but he survived. We sure appreciate Travis for the tickets. The boys will never forget it. Well maybe Luke won't remember but Erik and Jared will. Thanks! Hope all are well and we love and miss you. See some of you at Thanksgiving!!

Hi from the Bingham Clan! We finally have our new little bundle of joy. We named him Luke August Bingham. He arrived on Monday September 22, 2008 at 9:39 pm. He weighed 7lbs 9 oz and was 20 inches long. We had a great delivery and he is a healthy little boy. The only question we have is where in the world is his RED HAIR????? He is so dang cute that we decided to keep him anyway:) He is a very good baby and his big brothers and sister are loving him to peices. We have had a very big month with the boys starting school, getting into a home, the boys started Cub Scouts, Ryan was put into the Bishopric as the 2nd counselor last Sunday and we had Luke on Monday. We have been busy but are very blessed because we have great family support and are so thankful for them. Ryans Parents were here last weekend to help and set Ryan apart as a High Priest and my mom got here Sunday to help me with Luke. We sure miss all of you in Nova Scotia and the ones who are in Utah and Idaho. We hope all is well with your families and love looking at your blogs.

We Made It!!

Wow we are finally here and getting settled. On our trip back west we stopped in Navoo and had a great experience. We rode around Navoo in a wagon pulled by two horses and then the boys rode behind some oxen in a wagon. They also got a horseshoe from the blacksmith shop and a brick from the brickyard. We saw the Joseph Smith movie and what a tear jerker and testimony builder. When we got to Utah Jared was baptised and Donny, Karlee and Tate were there. That was so nice to see them. We later went to Donny's parents and the kids got to ride Annie the pony and Donny pulled out his motorcycle and now guess whose boys want one:)? We sure enjoyed spending time with our family and friends. Ryan went on a few hikes with the boys and his sisters and brother in law's. He also took the boys to Lagoon with more cousins and they had a ball. I stayed behind with Rebekah because my hips have not been very nice to me lately. We all went swimming at the Bountiful Rec Center which Rebekah loved. We went to Fetal Fotos while we were there and found out we are having a BOY!!!! I think Ryan and I were a little surprised but very excited. We had alot of quality family time and when we left to come back to Colorado Erik was able to go to Disney World with his Papa Friddle and cousin Jordan. When we got to our apartment Ryan's Dental license was in the mailbox and there was also a message from his office asking if he could come in the next day. He jumped on the chance and has been having so much fun working. I am so glad he is enjoying it. We have also been looking at houses and I think we are finally narrowing the search down. We sure appreciate the emails and calls and also the support of our family. We love you all!!!

Pinewood Derby 2008

Erik and Jared had their first pinewood derby and they made and painted the cars all by themselves. Ryan bought a wood file and sandpaper and the boys went to town. 4th Year Party and Jared's 8th Birthday

We sure have had a busy time lately but we sure don't forget to party!! Last weekend all of the Utah Dental Families threw the 4th years a party and we had so much fun. We want to thank you all and especially the Buxtons for letting us cram into your home and for the video. I can't believe our time here is getting shorter and shorter. It is very hard to think that we will be moving on and starting over again. We can't express our love and gratitude for all of our family and friends and also our Halifax Family. WOW are we gonna miss you all. Enough with the mushy stuff:) We also had a birthday party for Jared's 8th birthday. Boy was it rowdy! I guess that's what happens when you have 5 boys running all over the place and 1 little girl trying to keep up. He has decided to wait until we are in Utah to be Baptized. He would love to be with his Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and especially his cousins for such a big occasion. Hope you all enjoy these pictures and I will try to post again soon.

Jared got to give a talk in Primary a few weeks ago and he talked about how he can follow Jesus and taking good care of his lizard Rex was part of his talk. Rex was shedding in the picture so if he looks a little funny thats why.

We have had a fun tradition of the Christmas Nativity here in Nova Scotia. All the Utah families and some families from here get together and the kids dressup. It has always been a blast and last night was no exception. Erik was Joseph, Jared was the donkey & Rebekah was a chicken. Our narrator Jolynne did an awsome job reading with all the caos surronding her:) Ryan played Christmas songs on the guitar for everyone and the kids loved the jingle bells. We had a blast and are grateful to Annie for putting it together. The Bingham Family would like to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. We are so thankful for our Savior and the many blessings He has given our family. We are so blessed to have friends surrounding us this Christmas Season and wish them nothing but Happiness in the Year to come. We will miss our family this season but having our friends here makes it easier.

We have had a busy few weeks at the Bingham house. We put up the Christmas tree and all the decorations and so far Rebekah has left them where they belong. The boys have had hair cuts from dad with a little trauma involved on Jared's part. He wanted to spike his hair like a mohawk so dad thought of Mr.T, that was not what Jared was thinking so in essence came the no hair look. He wore a snow cap around the house and out for a few days. We also had our Primary program and the boys sang Jonah was a Prophet. They did awsome with there speaking parts and also with their singing parts. Rebekah is braving the world of walking and babbling all the time. She puts the phone to her ear and babbles away. I think we are in BIG trouble. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

We had a great Halloween this year. We had a party at the church on Saturday. Then on Halloween I took Rebekah down to the Dental school to see daddy with the other little ones from Utah families around here. Boy are they cute. Erik and Jared had parites at school where they got to dress up and thanks to Annie and Brig, we had another party at their house on Halloween night. That was so fun to see everyone and eat yummy food. Erik dressed up as a Scary Skeleton Monster, Jared was a Black Bat and Rebekah was a Beautiful Butterfly.

Erik was in the running club with his friend Zachary. They had a race with other schools and he did very well. We are very proud of him for trying hard and sticking with it. They had practice 2 afternoons and 1 early morning every week until the race. Now he is in Intermural sports which is before school on Fridays and he is also in Art club and The Peace Club. Boy does he like to be busy.

When we got back from Cape Breton we celebrated Rebekah's 1st birthday. She was so tired that it didn't last very long but she sure had fun eating her cake!

We took our first trip to Cape Breton while Ryan's mom & dad were here. What a beautiful place. We stayed at Lauries Inn the first night on the west side then stayed in a cottage in Ingonish for two nights. The beach was gorgeous. I loved playing with the boys on the beach. We hiked to a water fall and around a lake. Did a little shopping and stopped at Alexander Graham Bells Place on the way home. It was a nice break for Ryan and the boys from school. We loved having Grandma and Grandpa here and can't wait to see them at Graduation.
